Population

With a population growth of  28 percent over the last 20 years, Pickens County is one of the fastest growing counties in Upstate South Carolina. According to the 2015 US Census, Pickens County's population is 120,753 with an additional 800,000 people, 65 percent of the Upstate's population, living within 30-miles of the Pickens County Commerce Park. 

Housing and Income

The housing market for Pickens County has grown by nearly 14 percent since 2000 to over 52,000 households. The per capita income for Pickens is $32,419, which is an increase of 45 percent since 2001.

Municipalities

Pickens County is comprised of seven municipalities – Central (pop. 5,149), Clemson (pop. 15,072), Easley (pop. 20,549), Liberty (pop. 3,235), Norris (pop. 813), Pickens (pop. 3,149) and Six Mile (pop. 678).
