Comatrol / Danfoss One Of The Best Places To Work In Sc

For the second year in a row, Comatrol/Danfoss was named as one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina. This eighth annual program was created SCBiz in partnership with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.
This survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in the state of South Carolina, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. The list is made up of 40 companies.  For 2013, Comatrol/Danfoss has been named the eleventh best place to work in South Carolina in the large company category (250 or more employees). Last year Comatrol was twelfth in the small/medium company category.
“We at Comatrol are very proud of receiving this recognition of Best Places to Work in South Carolina.  I feel it really shows our commitment to our employees, our community and our customers,” said Derek Bailey, Director of Comatrol’s plant in Easley. “We as a company strive to continue this commitment each and every year.”
Bailey’s comments were echoed by his Danfoss colleague Siegfried Meier, Director of Operations, PVG Valves North America.
“Our employees are what makes us successful, this is a core believe in Danfoss. Our very positive finish in the Best Places to Work is a nice recognition for us; showing that we run our business in South Carolina in accordance with our core beliefs,” said Meier.
Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in South Carolina. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Ray Farley, Executive Director of Alliance Pickens, was thrilled to learn that Comatrol/Danfoss had been honored again as among the Best Places to Work in South Carolina.
